Should we get a mortgage through a Broker or a Bank?
Which do you think is better. This house buying stuff really is hard. I'm like a deer in headlights, clueless !!!

We used a bank, I liked hearing the info right from the horses mouth.

I have done both, I think you should talk to both before deciding. The most important thing is to find someone who is organized, and available to help you through it.

I have used both and I found the banks to be better and they are able to talk to their underwriters and get things pushed through if you need to. You never know what you need pushed through until you go through the approval process.
Brokers are fine I guess, but it's my preference to use a banker.

Thanks everyone. I went to Wamu today and I can't believe that the interest rate went up AGAIN !!! Will it ever stop rising ??? Thank goodness we locked with a broker on Monday. I might not have a choice now
