Ok Fh and I wanted to have our entrance to be unique so here what we came up with.

First, a little background info- Fh has season tixs to the rangers and i go as often as I can with him.

We want to come in to the reception to the Ranger goal song ( GOOAAAl,GOOOAAAL) the song they play when they score.

we also want to get ranger jerseys with our names ( fh name relly)and I would have 20 on the back of mine and he waould have 04 and after we walk in we are going to turn around and everyone will ee the jerseyssay our names and 2004.

Is this lame or cool. be honest!! we have to get the jerseys soon if we decicde to do it

I personally think it is lame, but maybe I just don't understand exactly what you are talking about. I can see doing the song, but the jerseys sound like total overkill to me. It's your wedding day, I would prefer to keep the focus on the fact that you are in love and committing yourselves to eachother for life, I don't really see why the Ranger thing needs to come into play.

I think its a really cute idea but I voted for the song not the jersey because of the hair mess up and dress covering factor.

I thiink it is a cute idea, but I don't watch hockey so I'm not sure what the GOAL song sounds like....

I really like those GM holding hockey stiicks - that's funny!

Definately go for it!

I am not a hockey fan, but I totally say GO FOR IT! With the jerseys. It is such an original idea and something personal to both of you and that is what your wedding should be about. I strongly believe that your wedding should reflect your personalities and who you are as a couple. And as for covering your dress, it is for only like 5 mins. I would definately take it off before your first dance. It isn't as if this is your first impression, everyone will have already seen your beautiful dress at the ceremony and then can admire it the rest of the evening.

And the best part, everyone will remember it. Years from now, people will remember your entrance because it was special and unique, a reflection of the two of you.

I wouldn't put a jersey over my dress. I love my dress and there's no way I'd cover it up even if Derek Jeter gave me the jersey off his back.

I think the idea is great; but I would 86 the jerseys.

At my cousin's wedding, my cousin and her groom wanted to 'fool' the guests and decided the entire bridal party should wear those fake pig snouts and other disguises.... well the guests, especially family were upset because they could not get 'nice-looking' pictures.

I dont really like the whole dress up idea either, but I dont think the GOAL song is a bad idea...I just think a wedding should be elegant and the jerseys would take away from that, but I also think if you guys think its the greatest idea in the world you should defenitely do it becasue it will make YOU GUYS happy and its your day!!!

Ooh Rangers fans! I'm so excited!!
I'm a HUGE Rangers fan and have season tix too, so I can say the entrance song is an AWESOME idea. I know there's even one version of the Goal song that exists where you actually hear a 'Let's Go Rangers' chant in the background. Personally, I wouldn't do the jersey thing. It's definitely a cute idea, but do you really want to cover yourself up, even if it's just for the entrance? I'd do something else, like possibly an ice sculpture of the Ranger crest, or maybe even name the tables after players or something like that to show your 'Rangers Pride' Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be the right thing for you.
