Ok Fh and I wanted to have our entrance to be unique so here what we came up with.
First, a little background info- Fh has season tixs to the rangers and i go as often as I can with him.
We want to come in to the reception to the Ranger goal song ( GOOAAAl,GOOOAAAL) the song they play when they score.
we also want to get ranger jerseys with our names ( fh name relly)and I would have 20 on the back of mine and he waould have 04 and after we walk in we are going to turn around and everyone will ee the jerseyssay our names and 2004.
Is this lame or cool. be honest!! we have to get the jerseys soon if we decicde to do it

I like the entrance idea with the music, but I don't like the matching outfit idea.

I like the entrance but 'GOOOAL! GOOOAL!' I don't like. Don't they have a song like the Mets 'Lets Go Mets! Lets Go Mets'. B/C 'GOAL!GOAL!' is kind of like he scored. Am I making sense?

You're okay in my book- I've been a Ranger fan since the womb. I like the idea of the song, but I don't like the idea of the jerseys. It would cover up what you guys spent so much money on and then you'd have your first dance with them on? Or trying to get them off could mess up your hair or makeup right before a lot of pictures...JMO

no we would take them off for the first dance and i would get a zipper or velcro in the back so that i could put it on and off without messing up my hair.

I think its a cute idea... honestly I would never do it but it means something to you and you FH... I think it would def be remembered I just would't want to cover up my dress...

Then that might not be so bad. If it means a lot to you and your FH, then go for it. It would definitely be something different that everyone remembers. I just wouldn't want to cover up my dress. But it is just for your entrance. If you keep it a surprise, you'd probably get a really great reaction from your guests.

I don't like the jersey idea, but the song is cute.
My FFIL wants to walk into the hall w/ his wife to the Rocky theme from the movies. Don't ask I don't know why

I say GO FOR IT!!!!It's your day and it sounds like something that you're both up for. The dress/first dance/pictures/hair mess up thing is the only thing you'll have to work out. I think your guests would think it was unique and different!! Let us know!!

Any QUestions???Lol...we had teh guys tapping the ice, we had the Rangers Theme song as our entrance song, I even had teh food in the spirit of the Ranger's Season. Brian has season tickets as well.

I think it is a great idea!! I love the song and jerseys. I think it would be hysterical and unique. And I am not even a sports fan!! Sometimes people are scared to outside of the box. GO FOR IT

I personally wouldn't do it, but I'm not a big hockey fan, etc. If it's important and meaningful to you and FH, then i think you should do it! If you like it, who cares what anyone else thinks? I'd just be concered about the jerseys, they'd have to be big in order to fit over the dress and hairdos, the velcro back is a good idea....you could also write Mr. and Mr.s on the back instead of the name, although that takes it out of the hockey mode a touch...I think it's cute. I think if I saw that at a wedding, at first I might be like 'ummm what is going on?' but once I 'got it', especially knwoing the couple were big rnager fans, I'd giggle with deight! SO cute!
