I think the Planting Fields are really pretty and I love the way pictures taken there look. I brought this up to FH and he thinks it would make our day too 'hectic' to take pics there and then drive up to Westchester (to Glen Island). We're seeing each other before the ceremony for pictures so it's not like we'd be in Westchester, driving to LI, and then back to Westchester. Also, we have our photographer for 10 hours. What do you all think?

Re: Should we take pics at Planting Fields?
The planting fields are really nice but they are a little out of the way. I'm sure you could find a spot just as nice but a little closer. Where the planting fields are is a little annoying to get to and the traffic build up around there is pretty bad. I wanted to take pics there also. I'm getting married on Friday in Farmingdale and the reception is in Wading River. The planting fields are the other way so we would never have time, especially with all the traffic. Also, I took pics there with my friend for her wedding. There are a lot of brides there at one time, so sometimes it is hard to get the spots you want. It is beautiful though. If you do want it, book a spot now if you could. Good luck. By the way do you know of any places on the way to Wading River to take pics?? I have no clue
