we did everyday around the time of ovulation and we got pregnant in the first month.

I started out with every day - then the last time I did every other day, thats what my Dr. told me to do.

They say that the swimmers need a day to re-group, so days 9, 11, and 13 are the best to BD.

More often than not, 'they' will say to try every other day just to give the sperm a chance to replenish. I know that personally, when it was getting real close to my O day, I couldn't help but BDing every day (days 17, 18, and 19 for me, since I O around day 19).

I was told that if DH's sperm count is assumed to be normal than every day around O day is fine.
If DH has a low sperm count than every other day gives them the chance to 'stockpile' so that lots of the little guys are aiming at the target.
We've been BDing every other day until I'm sure that we are around Ovulation Day the we BD every day.
