So I'm going to bite the bullet. I have enough hair to donate 10 inches to locks of love. I'm really scared. I never cut my hair. I've almost alwyas had long hair and I love it. I have really fine, curly hair. Can anyone show me some pics of cute hairstyles? I have a roundish face (i'm so scared a short haircut is gonna make me look fat!)... I need to get some courage to do this...but I just know it will benefit some child with leukemia more than it would benefit me to keep the hair.

I don't have any hairstyle pics but that is a really nice thing for you to do!!! I chopped my past-the-brastrap-length hair to a chin length bob in college, and it was great! The first time I had ever had hair shorter than 3-4 inches past my shoulders, and I loved it! (Initially, I was in shock and couldn't decide if I liked it or not, and a cute boy in my class that I had a crush on positively STARED at it the first day and said 'Oh my God, Danielle, you look so pretty!' That sealed it for me!!!
And just think of how happy you will make some poor little kid with cancer!!

My hair is far past the bra strap. It's down to my waist! Thanks for the support. I was always the kid CRYING in the beauty salon getting my hair cut. At least when it's shorter it'll be easie to style. I can flat iron it every day, and it won;t take 2 hours!

I was also the kid that cried! I hated getting my hair cut!!!
I just chopped mine off as well. When you donate your hair the cut is free at any Ulta salons. I have it to my bra strap now with lots of layers, I love it. Sorry I don't have a digital camera to show you
That 3rd one is adorable! I think that's about the length I'll end up with.

lol i love the 3rd one very soft pretty, i had to chop off my hair after having my daughter it fell it out in clumps i actually had bald spots it was horrible the Dr said it was hormonal i like having it shorter but it is still long enough to pull back! Good luck!!!

I was so scared I'd end up with this afro type mess on my head (you know how unruly curly hair can get), but I help up an 11 inch sheet of paper to my hair and it would leave me with shoulder length in the back, chin lenght in the front. I'm very excited!

that is an awesome reason to be cutting it off! I know what you mean about crying i will admit i am a MAJOR hair cut cryer lol ...i know the shorter my hair gets the curlier it is you will be fine especially if you can pull it back and also straighten it(i cold not survive with out my straightner) lol

I cut my hair after high school, really short, above my shoulders. I cried! I felt like a 12 year old!
I just recently cut my hair again. I just couldn't take it anymore. It was so long and frizzy and dead!
Well I left it in the hands of the hairdresser. He cut layers in my hair, which I am not crazy about, but I love that it is GONE! It takes 2 seconds to wash, brush, and style now!!!!!!!
The front is above my shoulders, and the back is below my shoulders. I don't like the layers, cause my hair curls so much, it only looks like I have 2 layers. Maybe if someday I get the guts to see what it looks like straigtened, I bet the layers would look better.
cute jar. My hair is the same texture as yours (a little thinner though). I'm excited about cutting it. I think your hair would look ADORABLE straight. try it!
