What florest are you using? I am getting married at OJC in Oct. We are using Stephans.

I am not using Stephans. I haven't booked it yet, but I think I am going to go with Jack and Rose. I atm trying to figure out what I want first.

OJC is allowing you to use other florests that arent on their approved list?

I'm surprised that President Caterers is allowing you to use a florist other than the house florists. I am using Colonial.

They have suggested vendors- I didn't use any of them. Colonial closed every day at 5:00- i live in teh city and am an attorney so being in LI before 5 is an impossibility for me. The other two were too expensive and SPitz and PEck totally screwed up my sisters chuppah. They fixed it for the wedding, but for the pictures it is completely bare.

I remember when we met with Scott from President he said that we had to use one of their approved florests because they have had some issues with some others. Before you book your I suggest you check your contract and or talk to them. The florest was the only vendors that were manditory to choose from.

Already done. The florist I am probably going with has done work there. I called Fred (who I deal with) and he said if I got a good deal to go with it. So I am. Thanks for the advice though.

Congrats on booking your florest. I just wanted to make sure you knew. Do you know how many people OJC holds? We were supposed to have 200 we are now about 250
We arent sure how many the room can hold.
