Show Opinions
I went to the Bridal shoe store on Old Country Road yesterday and found a very nice pair of shoes that seemed to be very comfortable but who knows if they actually will be after wearing them all day.I also tried on a pair of fancy sneakers that were so cute. They're kind of like the steve madden sneaker/shoes that are popular. All white satin with pretty ribbon for the laces. Now, in my opinion, I think I could get away with just wearing the cute sneakers all day. No one will actually be able to see my feet and I know I'll be very comfortable.
What's everyone's opinion on wearing fancy sneakers all day and not buying fancy wedding shoes?

Re: Show Opinions
I am more comfortale in sneakers, but as much as I would like to wear these for my wedding, I will wear heels all day.

Re: Show Opinions
I'm wearing heels. I wear sneaks all the time, so for me it'll be a bigger deal to wear something I don't normally have on my feet. Although, once the reception starts though, I'm sure I'll be kicking those puppies off... Those sneakers you found though sound really cute, do you have a pic?

Re: Show Opinions
Metphan, I think you should definitely be comfortable that day. I personally have decided to wear my shoes (low heeled pumps) all day. My only concern for you regarding the sneakers is if they show up in pictures when you are walking down the aisle or if you get lifted up on the chair. If you don't care if they show up in the sneakers, then I'd say go with the pictures.Good Luck

Re: Show Opinions
Metphan, I got a pair of the ballet slippers for that day, and even though they are flat, it is a shoe so not sure how comfortable they will be after wearing them for a while. I was going to get the sneakers as well. If you don't mind me asking, how much were the sneakers that you saw? I am looking for them at a reasonable price. What I figured I would do is wear the ballerina slippers for the church and posed pics, get to the reception and put on the sneaks asap.

Re: Show Opinions
Someone told me that I should wear a little bit of a heel because it looks much better when you walk. Then you can always slip into comfortable shoes later.

Re: Shoe Opinions
The sneakers were about $64 and so were the shoes that i saw. To buy both is expensive, but I might do it anyway! Both of them are Special Occasions shoes. The website is specialoccasionshoes.com, but I didn't see the sneaker on there. The sales lady said they are very new so maybe they are just no listed on the website yet.
I'm not sure what I think about sneakers in the pics. Maybe I'll wear shoes until after the first dance and hora and then switch to the sneakers.
