showcase cost!!

I am booked at Villa Lombardi's for April 2008 and I will be attending their showcase this wednesday but i am a little bit upset that they are charging me $10.00 a person. After how much i'm going to be spending on the wedding, is this normal??? Does anyone else have to pay to go to other places showcases??

at east wind they would charge, but I never had to pay because i was a booked bride... maybe it is for people who just want to come, tell them you are booked there and they shouldnt charge you

its the best $10 you'll ever spend .. I am a Villa bride as well and I went last month .. besides the showcase the food is unreal! It is basically set up like a full cocktail hour, and its fantastic! With all the money you are spending, this is so minor, trust me! We are planning on going again and bringing friends!

just enjoy it!

I am booked at Miller Place Inn and I did not have to pay for the showcase. In fact, they treated me like a queen when I was there. It was a cash bar but they were offering to get me drinks etc.

I dunno, but that sounds pretty cheap to me.

Upon booking our hall (on a sat morning), we were given a complimentary brunch, complete with champagne (It was YUM!!!)

Somehow, I feel that's the way you should be treated after spending $10k+ on a location!!!

no we didn't have to pay for the showcase after we booked at our hall. that doesn't sound right.

The sales manager at my RH originally said it was free for all brides who booked and their guests, but then when I called to get tickets, someone else told me I would have to pay for any extra guests. I was a little annoyed, but decided not to say anything.

Anyway, we were out there last weekend to meet with our coordinator and happened to run into our sales manager. When we told him, he took care of it for us. Try talking to the person you booked with just to see. You never know what they may say. After all, you just spent a lot of money on the place!
