Yes it is!!! I've never been before and have heard that all the food will served that night

My fiance called and spoke with Rob the other day and he told him that most of the appetizers will be there but NOT the entrees. He also said that they are expecting like 1800 people so it will be crowded.

I still can't wait though! I am bringing my parents to see the hall for the 1st time so very exciting!!!

I went to the last one and had the appetizers and they were amazing. I don't know if I am going to go again if they are not putting out the entrees. It was packed when I went. I wish that I can take my mom to see but she lives in the Hamptons and it is a long ride for her during the work week.

No entrees?? Huh?? I thought they said EVERYTHING was going to be there. Oh noooo it was crowded? This is one thing that really bugs me about JT.... that there is no private food tasting- I thought I was going to be able to taste everything in Feb

For your food tasting, was it a sit down formal food tasting with the entrees? I ask because I asked for a food tasting and they said that I could go in for a light informal type thing but we never did thinking that we would try the food in February.

But then come to find out when we called and spoke with Rob that it's just the appetizers . He said that it's most of the appetizers. The other showcases that I went to had just a few of the apps and he did say it was a lot more than the other showcases. It better be most of the apps or I am going to be really mad!!!

this is what we had:

we had 4 hordurves (bad spelling) i'm thinking rice balls, tempora veggies, baked clams and stuffed mushrooms

cold antipasta (cold meats, cheese, olives, peppers and bread)

pasta w/sauce

a chicken dish... (the one that is in the entrees section of the dinner menu)

creme brulee with fruit on the side of the plate... (i think they only did the creme brulee because my Bridal Manager knew how much i loved it from talking about it at our first meeting !!)

it was soooo much food all 6 of us couldn't finish it..

good luck talking to them... remember you are paying them...get what you want...

OMG this is what they told me too!!!!!! They were trying to talk me out of it and to go to the Showcase and that all of the food would be at the showcase and that in private tasting- there is only appetizers. I pretty much got annoyed!!! Now I'm even more annoyed to find out not all of the food is going to be served at the Showcase

Rob told me that there's no private food tasting.
Is there going to be a lot of food at the showcase? If yes, which type (appetizer only or entree also)

i had my food tasting the day my parents signed the contract...

we told them that we weren't signing without a tasting and it was set up with nooo problem !
