Usually I think the responsibility goes to the bride's side. I've been apart of showers where the mother of the bride, or grandmother, or bridesmaids pay or it's a combination of parents and bridesmaids. I think it just depends on the situation.

usually bridemaids, and moh and bride side ( mother ,sisters) ...usually every takes a task or chips in

Usually the bridesmaids and MOH. Sometimes Moms or closest family contributes too.

Since I'm not having a bridal party. I hope my 4 sisters and my mom will help but if not I will be doing it myself....mostly like it will be me cuz i dont want it thrown back in my face that they did stuff for me lol

I think the very traditional way is mob pays. I was just in a Wedding where mob paid for most and the bridesmaids paid for cake, decorations/centerpieces, and games.

My FMIL and FFIL paid for my shower. My sister is the only person in my bridal party and she isn't set up to pay for a party right now and my mom passed away 5 years ago.Usually it is the bride's side, but I have been to a few where the groom's side contributed or paid for 1/2.
