so i found out yesterday(my MOH is horrible at keeping secrets) that she is planning my shower for july 4th or 5th i just feel that a week before is like reallllllllllllyyyyyyyyy close and i don't want people to not come since my wedding is the next week. I'm OOT so i would have to be on LI for it anyway and i don't want to hurt MOH's feelings but i just kinda feels like a gimmie gimmie gimmie situation and i'm not at all like that.
what would you girls do? Suck it up and leave it be or ask her to make it at least 2 weeks before?

i think i'm goint to talk to her tonight about it wish me luck. I don't think she sent out invites that would be crazy early.
my bff from CA is flying in 7/3 so i'm thinking thats why she is planning it for that weekend

Also you may not get that many RSVP's as people may be OOT for the Holiday/ Already have plans. I would def ask her to reconsider the date
