shower advice

I'm ALMOST 100 percent sure that this Sunday is my shower...

Does anyone have any 'advice?'

I'm not really sure what I mean...but I don't know...what am I supposed to do when I open the gifts? What if I don't know who something is from? (there's a couple of FH's family coming that I don't know..)

Sitting in front of a bunch of people opening presents has me horrified... even if I'm really excited about something, I never really show it.

HELP!

just calm down and enjoy your day

if you know everybody there except for 2 people, you can always figure out who those are by process of elimination

Be prepared to smile until your cheeks hurt.

lol, i 'think' my shower is on sunday too (wow, that makes like 4 of us)

if you dont know someones name, just do the.. 'hey yyyyyyy, how are you?'

if you're stuck having to introduce two people like 'oh this must be your mother...' then they don't give a name when they reach out to shake hands- just be like 'omg, i'm just in shock, i'm sorry' and leave it at that.

as for being the center of attention.. just accept it. i have butterflies right now just htinking of it... but w/e the day is about you... just pull the 'shock' card if you do anything embarrassing (I know i will lol)

Everyone is showering this weekend!

My shower was the most fun event leading up to the wedding. I was SO nervous about it - the night before I made DH take me out for a drink, then I felt better. It was such a nice day and so lovely to be surrounded by a group of loving and supportive women. It really was beautiful. I felt very loved. You will too. Just relax, be yourself, enjoy it.
