I'm thinking a cute dress with a cardigan and maybe some ballet flats? of course who knows what the weather will be like haha....maybe a skirt and cute top definitely dressier than jeans though! I hate pants (haha....FH always mocks me when I say that!), so as soon as it's warm enough for skirts and dresses that is ALL I wear!

I am already looking for cute dresses haha even tho it's totally too early!

Dresses and skirts are really cute, but make sure you think about your shower location and the fact that everyone will be sitting facing you for a while for gifts. So think about if people will be sitting in chairs around you or on the floor/lower than you? I've been to so many where the brides are wearing skirts/sundresses, and its just panty peek the whole time, haha! Unless you like that kinda thing of course

yeah thats what i was thinking when i read that, if thats the case i'll sit in a way to make sure nothing shows. Or you can tuck the dress between your legs a bit if anything...i wont wear anything short and tight so i'll be able to maneuver it a bit

Hi, date twin. i am going to wear a simple but cute dress, my shower is also in april. i just wasnt told the date. to be honest if i could get away with jeans i certainly would but i dont think that would fly with my sisters. but i'll find out, i am a very laid back jeansy kinda gal.

i guess more and more people are in on the planning now huh? i think thats good. now you can make all these decisions and not worry about showing up in something you wish you didnt wear.

i've seen it done before lol i didn't come up with it. THe last bridal shower i went to was at the brides parents home, it was in the summer and they had a real big backyard and put up tents, it was real nice. But the bride showed up on a sunday afternoon thinking it was her families clam bake or something like that which they do every summer. She wore terry cloth shorts and a shirt, so at first she was like OMG look what i am wearing. But her sister who is her MOH brought a bunch of the brides dresses to the home along with shoes and other things for her to put on. Theres either that or for every sunday about 1-3 months before your wedding you dress up when you go out, well if you go out around noon or 1pm Its like 'oh you want to go out to eat lunch at 1pm hmmm ok, hold on let me go get dressed

Re: Shower attire??

My shower is in 2 weeks and I have nothing to wear.

i went shopping today and everything is onsale but its dressy holiday/ new years little black dress type of stuff.

What do you ladies think of this for me?

If I am spending money on ANOTHER dress, I am hoping to get something I can also wear to work. yes, I am insanely practical.

I have no idea what i'll wear. I'll probably go with a dress b/c its easier. You've got on your top and you bottom, only one piece of clothing to figure out haha. You guys reminded me that I have to give my sis/moh my 'ensembles' since she won't tell me when the shower is AT ALL...evil hussy
