Shower attire question....

I am going to a friends shower in a few weeks. Is it okay to wear a white dress to it? I know it's not proper, not would I ever wear it to the wedding...but I wasnt sure what the etiquette is for the shower. It's a strapless dress but I will be wearing a different color cardigan over it. TIA!

i think as long as you have the colored sweater you should be safe!

I think it's ok for a shower because I think the bride to be usually picks something very colorful!

I don't see a problem with it but you never know every bride is diff.. maybe you should avoid it JIC

I would probably avoid it only because some brides feel they want to wear white to their shower cause its THEIR DAY and its all about the WHITE dress. I know a lot of girls wear whateva color they want, but I also know quite a few that are wearing white. And I think its better to avoid any drama.

If possible I would just avoid it. Everyone is different and while I think most girls use the shower as a chance to wear something other than white you never know.

Honestly, I wouldnt wear white to someone's bridal shower. I almost planned on wearing a dress that was all white...but then decided to get a black & white dress.

If you wore white to my shower, I'll probably spill wine on your dress. Ooooops!!! LOL!!! Jk... no, I wouldnt... I just dont think I'd like it much lol
