my mother is planning my shower for February. so she started brainstorming and she wants centerpieces that are not flowers. something unique... any ideas girls??

christinas shower was a tea party theme.. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FREAKIN CUTE!!
the cps were box of tea bags and on top was a pink ceramic tea pot and pink n silver balloons ont hat. SO SO SOOO cute.
i took the easy way out n got flower cps.
u can also get those manequin jewelry holders... and attach balloons on that

i went to one where the centerpieces were 10 small potted plants....and then at the end of the party, viola, it was also one of the favors!! so smart!

I went to a baby shower that the centerpieces were teapots and the favor were nice boxed tea. To get the centerpiece you had to have a sticker on your box of tea - it was just a simple dot.
You could also do a candy theme and maybe do some big lollipops.

How bout a fish bowl? I dont know if I would do it but its definitely unique....
Also here are the centerpieces I used for my engagement party. They were a big hit and only $12 from Amazon.com

my cousin did something like this for his graduation party. it was a tall vase with a few flowers in it and a goldfish swimming around. so cute!!!! at the end of the party, 1 person from each table won the goldfish and got to take him home!

Hi I know you said no flowers but technically they are not cause they are not gonna die..lol my sister did these for my shower and they were awesome..big hit..ppl were arguing about who was gonna take them home..some of my aunts made me order more..lol
She put them in a small vase and then wrapped the vase in gold tule with a brown bow ( my colors)
very inexpensive too.. take a peek..i have pics on my office puter.. if u want to look..fm me HTH
