Shower Delima

Obv I know the BP plans the shower... but here is my thing (and I'm sure a lot of people are in this situation also)... I live with FH and have for a couple years. We are more than set when it comes to 'stuff'
There are a few things we could use - and of course I would register for items we could use or upgrade - but do you girls have any ideas about what to do for showers?

My MOH was asking me... and I was thinking maybe a 'honeymoon' shower.

FMIL stepped in and said something like that would be inappropriate because if people contributed toward plane tix or upgrades etc we would know how much was spent.

I say... who cares? Seriously? If I register.. I'm going to know how much you spent anyway.

Do you think that's really inappropriate?
Any other ideas for fun non-traditional showers?

We were considering the same thing and doing a honeymoon registry for disney world. I think its a good idea if you have everything Maybe just make a registry of things you wouldn't buy yourslef otherwise?

I been to a couple of weddings and i learned that when people register only for a few things you know they want money.
YOU CAN DO WHAT MY COUSIN JOKED ABOUT, INSTEAD OF REGISTRY CARDS HE SAID PEOPLE SHOULD PUT DEPOSIT SLIPS TO THERE BANK ACCOUNTS IN THE SHOWER INVITES..LOL BUT THEN AGAIN HE IS A GUY AND KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT TACT..LOL

I honestly don't know what we'd register for!

I could set FH free in Home Depot or Bed Bath And Beyond lol (help me now!) ;)

I joke that he is in charge of registering because I honestly couldn't care less... and there's really not much we need.

there's not even upgrades you would like of anything? Towels? sheets? cookware? coffeemaker?

FH's grandmother just got us a new coffeemaker for our e party.. my favorite gift so far... the hamilton beach one with the dispenser and water filter and everything.... MMMMM we love it! lol
