Thoughts? I'm not one for a floral print or summer dress. More business-like.

i think it does look too business like for a shower - although its a nice dress and i would definitely wear it to work lol. when i think of showers, i picture fun dresses!

it is very business like... but that doesnt mean you cant wear it to your shower

Yeh I don't know why but I like the business look better. Just feel like it's more sophisticated or something. I tried on a few florals but they just weren't me. I did a business dress for the engagement shoot last week. Wish I could see how it looks before the shower but they'll be ready to view like that day!

Be yourself; it's really pretty! Being comfortable at your shower is important!

I like it! I think the most important thing is to wear something that's 'you.' Don't wear something you aren't comfortable in and that you don't think you look good in. If that's the type of dress you like, go for it!

Honestly, it looks like something I would wear when I have to go to court for work.

That's IMO. I'm sorry.

I think something something not so business like would like nice and it doesn't need to have the floral print or be a sun dress.

I def think fun dresses too but then I try them on and I'm like nooooooo can't do it!! I'll see - still shopping around but I'll prob end up with something like this. The shower is in a location that definitely calls for something more classy than fun - ugh if I didn't know where it was this might be easier!!

I like it but like everyone else said I would wear it to work... what about one of these... all from Banana Republic and none of them have flowers and most are stuff you technically could wear to work but a little more fun...you could dress them up with cute shoes and accessories.

And here are two from Ann Taylor... I figure they're all more 'work-ish'. I will say I feel more comfortable in dresses like this too!!!

couldn't help myself - i bought the original dress i posted! haha. i also bought one from ann taylor but i don't think it's going to be the one. i'll keep looking. 9 shopping days left!
