does anyone know where I can find a dress to wear to my shower? I never buy dresses so I have no idea where to go. I want like a poufy little party dress. I walked around the mall a few weeks ago but they just seemed to have a lot of maxi dresses which totally is not for me.

I always go to BCBG Maxazria for my dresses. They usually have a wide selection from simple cocktail dresses to more formal dresses. You can check out some of the dresses they have available for the season on their website. Hope this helps.

ETA: Tanger in Deer Park has BCBG with tons of dresses. Definitely check it out. It's cheaper than the BCBG stores in the mall.

A lot of my friends go to Estelles and I always love what they wear! I haven't been there personlly, but I heard they have a wide variety of dresses.

I tend to find dresses in Century 21. I don't know if you're ever in the city, but I was at the TJ Maxx on 1st Ave. yesterday and they has these gorgeous, silk tulle designer dresses for like $150...originally $700 or something. I almost bought an ivory one until I realized I had nowhere to wear a poufy, pearl encrusted dress!

They do have some really cute dresses, but a lot of them seem REALLY short. Just make sure you read the reviews before you buy - girls list their measurements and some include a picture.

I have every single one lol in every color. I just thought those weren't showery enough lol. they are great when I go to clubs though. esp with putting a belt over them so cute. well according to my grandma she was like you need more formal blah blah.

Estelles, Charlotte Russe, Francesca's Collection, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Express, Kohls... I could go on. I wear a lot of dresses lol

Even Target has a good selection but sometimes its hit or miss there!
