I'm thinking about wearing a black dress to my shower...I want to wear a shoe with some color to not dress in totaly black lol...do you girls have any ideas? Thanks!

Totally cute dress!!! You can go either way with the shoe but I would go with a heel in absolutely any color. It is adorable!!

I wouldn't wear black to my shower.
Personally, I love black. I'm ALWAYS wearing black because I feel comfortable and confident in it BUT I went to hell and back to find a light colored dress that made me feel just as good for my shower.
This (wedding) time is so special and you will never have this 'time to shine' again. I think, you should stand out and look different!
You can wear a black dress whenever...I say wear something that makes you stand out.

It's very cute! I would probably wear a bright fuchsia with it in black...but I have to say I like it a lot in white too, and if it were me, I'd probably wear the white to the shower instead, but whatever you're most comfortable in!

I kinda agree that this is your one chance to really be in white instead of dark colors, and that particular dress also comes in white.
But you have to be comfortable, and if you like it in black, then by all means go with it. It's a very cute dress!
As far as shoes go, what about patent leather red pumps? I have a pair from nine west that when I break them out at work with a black suit everyone whistles lol. It's quite a dramatic look!

I do like the dress in white but when I tried it on it was see-through which I didnt like LOL. Which is why I was thinking of wearing the black one.

The dress is beautiful- no doubt about it...but, I still feel you should stand out.
I would look into ABS dresses in Ivory...the fabric is thicker and the cut of their dresses is ideal for various body types. Or Black House White Market?
Maybe buy this dress as a backup to have- is your shower this spring/summer? I know showers I have been to- women are always wearing light colors. Plus wearing a floral print or a lighter color is always puts me in a happier mood...this is just my opinion.
black is my favorite color too but neither my mom or MOH let me get a black dress and I am so happy I listened to them. Enough of my 2 cents now...I'm sure you'll look gorgeous either way.
