shower dress stockings/shoes POLL

shower dress stockings/shoes POLL

ok so im trying to figure out what i should do about this dress...my shower will probably be sometime b/w january to april....

im torn between wearing stockings and then having to wear with a closed shoe/ankle boots

or wearing peep toe like i really wanna but not wear stockings cuz itwill look cheesy showing out of the peeptoe

but im told i should be wearing stockings given the season and the fact that ill be opening gifts

help me out!!! TIA

ehhh i wear dresses in the winter with no stockings...think about it..you're going to be inside-only outside to go to and from the car..

and stockings aren't going to stop anything from showing..

hahaha so true!

I loooooove peep toes and I always sacrifice warmth for fashion!

Honestly, I definitely think you have a lot of options. Instead of stockings I would do tights and I think it is fine to do them with a peep toe - stockings, not so much.

ITA. Buy a pair of thick black tights and as long as your peep toe shoes are not patent leather you can totally wear them. Otherwise a round-toe pump will look great with the dress.
