what do people usually do about drinks at a shower?
soda/coffee/tea?
above plus beer/wine?
full bar?

They had a chanpagne punch. FG had soda and coffee and tea were available too.
I was all over that punch when I realized there were cherries at the bottom!!!

I love my beer and mixed drinks lol..but at a shower, during the day, I go expecting wine and champange punch. I dont think you need much more than that.

Soda/coffee/tea and then I would say depending on the time of day either wine OR champagne (for mimosa's of course!!!)

most that I have been to were brunch or lunch, so they offered a champagne punch.
I just went to a shower that was open bar and the girls were taking down martini's like they were water - I don't think the MOB was to happy, she kept making comments, but then again I don't think it was right to get drunk at a shower either.

so funny, i asked this exact question a few months back. i usually see some type of alcholol but not a lot of it. i wanted something at mine. so we chose a package with unlimited champagne punch, soda, coffee, tea.
if not that, i wouldve wanted at least wine or i woulda been okay with even like 2 drinks (some places offer a package like the meal will include 1 bloody mary or a mimosa...im sure you could always negotiate that in as well if they dont offer it)
i really dont think though if its not available, people will notice that much. its a shower so people dont think about drinking when they think about bridal showers.

The place we're having mine provides unlimited, soda, beer, and wine. And we told them to start a tab on the bar and we will pay it off at the end of the shower. Not a lot of people will want drinks so it was cheaper for us to do the tab on the bar.
oh yeah, coffee and tea also included.

At mine there were bottles of wine red/white at each table,we had champagne punch, soda, coffee, tea
