Shower Favor

Hey guys ...need some assistance.

As my shower favor I'm trying to put together this little bathroom set. a rolled up hand towel with a small sachet and a small soap..

I'm having trouble finding nice soaps for a good price since this is the the only part of my gift.

and the other thing I'd like to do is have my towels embroidered . I already have the towels..i just need someone to embroide them for me .

does anyone know where I can take them too ?
Please let me know.

TIA

Re: Shower Favor

For the soaps, try homegoods! They always have cute little ones!

Also there is a booth in Queens Center that does the embroidery, OR Tri County. They're both comparable in price.

HTH!

Tri County is a BIG indoor flea market. It's in Levittown on Hempstead Turnpike.

It's across the Tpike from Miller's Ale House if that helps.

Re: Shower Favor

for soap try the christmas tree shop in deer park (tanger outlets).. take the train and spend some time at the outlets.
As for the towels. Get the iron ons and DIY (try michaels). My father worked for fortunoff for 23 years and was let go back in 98 so 11 years ago... well back when he worked there I'd go to the 'take your daughter to work day' and we'd go all around the main offices then to the store and the warehouses (where my father was a manager) and production, etc. Like seriously it was like a field trip.. anyway each year we did something different. Like one year we did screen printing another year we did photo set displays (for catalog) and we'd keep what we did and one year we made monogram towels. All it was was a towel (color of our choice) and our first initial and we'd iron them on then they had a women do a quick stitch... (I helped because I was older and had gone to EVER tydtwd they ever had) we put in about 4-8 stitches per initial... it takes seconds.
