shower for twins

a close friend of mine is preg w/ twins and I would like any cute/fun ideas (or presents) you've had/seen for her shower. I am putting it together for next week. Thanks!!!
PS - we don't know the sex.

I have twin nephews and although my SIL didn't have a shower, I bought her something similar to this (sorry, but I can't find the exact one).



I did buy it after the boys were born so I got it personalized with their names. I see a lot of twins stuff with Noah's Ark since they are two by two things....I think it is cute.

Danielle, hi!!! Always here to help!

The throw was on a website called cherrylanepillows.com. The one I got I swore was on Paragongifts.com but I checked on there and they didn't have it anymore. All they have is a little peapod locket sort of thing with 2 peas inside, pretty cute too.

I am also throwing a baby shower this Saturday. I have the guess the baby food game. You need a few jars of baby food, peel off the labels (but you need to know which is which). Number the jars. Then have game cards for each guest to guess what is in the jar. They can smell, taste and look at it.
I also got a beautiful baby scrapbook- with all blank pages. I then decorated the pages and stenciled (since I have awful handwritting) Motherly Advice (for each guest to write words of wisdom on), Gifts (for one of us to write what she gets at the shower and from who) and Memories (for her to put photos or thoughts on).
I also got a toy box as a gift and will use that as the wishing well.
You can also include a 'guess what they are having' page- but my friend is adopting so we know it is a baby girl.

for twins- have two punches instead of one, get 2 cakes or put the two peas in a pod idea on the cake.
You are doing this with only 1 week of planning?

Make sure you get her a corsage and a Mom-to-Be pin (party city type places have it for like $3.00). My shower is also very small- about 13 people or so. I am burning a CD of music to play at the shower of all mommy/daddy/baby songs.

I have twins and for my shower my cousin created a gift basket of Cat in the Hat, featuring, of course, 'Thing 1 and Thing 2'. I also received a number of Noah's Ark items. We didn't know the sexes either.
