Shower Game Ideas - for Shy Brides

Okay girls -

By now - i think everyone KNOWS that i hate attention and I have to say that my BP really heard me when I told them that. At my shower - they played games that were soooo fun & didn't make everyone stare at Jessica...

Game 1 - gave a name of a character in a movie and you had to name their love interest & movie. Some of them gave the movie and you had to name the two characters - it was fun....most were my fave movies.

Game 2 - What's in the purse? They purchased a cute purse and people had to list what they thought was in it. Some of it was fake - ya know, fake CC, etc. The person who guessed the most got the purse & all its' contents.

Game 3 - The pantry game. They had a huge bag full of stuff & a laundry basket (really cute linen covered one - made of wicker). They would give you the 'slogan' of the items in the bag & you had to guess which product it was for. The product then went into the basket for Dave & I....there were TP, paper towels, mac & cheese...it was sooooooo cute!!!

Game 4 - They spelled out my whole name on the top of a piece of paper & whomever spelled the most words out of the letters in my name won a prize.

Game 5 - Bridal bingo - list all the things involved in a wedding....and they had a bunch of stuff written down in a bag and pulled them out.

Just wanted to share for the brides out there who may need games that aren't so FOCUSED on you...if you have 'issues' the way I do.

the MOH at my SIL's wedding did a cute 'poem'

She had items and held them up as she incorporated themselves in the poem

for example:

'When you saw James' eyes SPARKLE (she would hold up the paper towles sparkle brand and then toss it in a hamper) you must have been really GLAD (held up garbage bags) to have me him. He always fills you with CHEER and happiness.'

etc. i cant think of the actual poem they used but the presentation came out really cute. then the bride got to keep everything.

we also did bridal bingo to spell out BRIDE
and everyone filled in what they thought the bride was going to get while she opened presents. then as she was opening people would cross them off and yell BRIDE when they got a line. we had small gifts for them
this might be good for you becasue it takes some of the attention off you while youre opening your gifts.
