So who do you sign the gifts from as a guest? Just yourself, or yourself and FH (assuming you are not the relation to the guest of honor).
Logic would dictate in my own mind at least just the woman's name, but then my more rigid side kicks in and thinks, well, who am I to this person? No one...so the person's name who actually means something to them (FH)should go on as the designator of who I am.
Did that make any sense or am I still high?
Please help!

Re: Shower Gift Etiquette
I'm already in the habit of signing EVERYTHING 'Love, Cathleen & Marc' so I'd prob do the same on a shower gift card.

Re: Shower Gift Etiquette
I would put both... i received cards that had only the womans name and also man and woman... i think you're safer by putting both

Re: Shower Gift Etiquette
Hmmm I always send shower gifs from myself alone since my FH isn't technically invited to showers with me. Also, at my shower last month, everyone with the exception of one or two girls signed the card from themselves alone.

Re: Shower Gift Etiquette
I'd put both but even if it was FH who was really the invited party I think I'd still sign it.

Re: Shower Gift Etiquette
I would put both names. When my mom sent out my shower invites i asked of her to write my FH's name also so his aunts would know who i was because some of them would've been like 'Huh who the heck is that?'. So i definitely say put both.

Re: Shower Gift Etiquette
I always do just my name for things like this, even if it's his family.

Re: Shower Gift Etiquette
I'd probably put:
Love, Sandra (& Michael)
if I wasn't sure the person knew who I was... although hopefully they would if I'm going to their shower!
I'm going to a baby shower in a few weeks for FH's best friend's wife and I'm going to put both our names on the gifts (without the parenthesis).
How are you feeling Ali??? Are you still taking stuff?

I actually don't feel so hot now...I think God smited me for being cocky over the weekend, and now I'm feeling it. Sitting here with my coat on because I have the chills! Think I may excuse myself from work in a bit and go home and sleep.

Re: Shower Gift Etiquette
On his side, I put both of our names. On my side for family I'd put both names but for my friends' showers I think I'd only put mine.
