Shower Gift Poll

My friend's shower is in June and I am one of the BMs. What do you typically spend on a gift if you are in the BP?

Usually we all chipped in and bought a big present together...i'd say in the $100 each range...and we also paid for part of the shower.

I honestly think it depends on the financial situation of each girl and if they are paying for the shower. My girls all helped pay for the shower and money is tight for them. They each gave us a gift around $50.

i agree...we were all in our mid 20's at the time & single so we had $ to spare..

2 of the weddings i was in when i was a BM i got them ktichen things they wanted...spent 150 or so on!

Then my other wedding that im in since im the MOH i got her a Dyson and a HM basket...then some lil odds and ends.

I would probably spend $200 or over depending on who's wedding it was and what I wanted to get them. I am normally a $100 gifter, but then again I only get invited to showers for people I am really close to!
