My best friend is getting married in April and I am trying to come up with a shower gift. I don't want to get something off of her registry. Any ideas would be great. TIA.....

Re: Shower gifts
Is there a specific reason why you don't want to get something off her registry?
As a bride planning a wedding, I'm excited to get *anything* off my registry, even if it's a silly potato masher. Purchasing something that is not on a registry may be difficult, but maybe you can get her a basket of kitchen stuff if she likes to cook, with a cookbook, new apron, etc. Or maybe Lingerie or body care/perfume items. But I would highly suggest purchasing a shower gift off of her registry, it's something that you know she wants.
Good luck!

Re: Shower gifts
I used to never buy a gift off a bridal registry.. that is, until I became a bride myself. I would appreciate anything someone bought off my registry. After all, it is on the registry because I like the item & would love to receive it as a gift. Of course you dont HAVE to purchase something off the registry, however, if you do, you know she would love it

Re: Shower gifts
What about getting her one of those sweatshirt outfits with the saying 'bride' of 'soon to be...' Or maybe even lingerie that says that stuff. My best friend is getting married a month before me and although I'll get her some stuff off her registry, I'd like to get some personal stuff too that I know she'd love and appreciate.
