How much do you usually spend on a shower gift? I just got a shower invite and I can't remember what the norm is.
is it a family member/close friend, or just an acquaintence? If someone close to you, Id spen between 75-100...if not so close, between 50-75
If I attend the shower- about $100. For close friends/family, I spend between $150 and $200.

$100, but if the person is a close friend / family member I spend more... I spent $300 for FH's ungrateful sister last August
I always spend over $100 on close friends and family and about $75 on everyone else. Just recently had my shower though, and not many people reciprocated that back....my gift amounts are drastically going down from now on. I've had guests spend $50 or less when I spent over $100 on them.
