I found out that my shower invites went out, and I have been stalking my registry like a crazy person. There are a bunch of things that we registered for that I would love to start using right away, but I had heard it's bad luck to use these gifts until after the wedding...so, are you ladies going to start enjoying your shower gifts right away, or are you waiting?

Yeah, I totally plan to! Some stuff I'll wait because I'll have to rearrange a few things in my house to accommodate, and let's keep it real, I'm lazy, lol. But like, new vacuum? New pots and pans? Don't miiiiiind if I do!

Definitely not waiting. We are moving in together in the next month and my shower is July so we are using everything because we definitely need it. If I wait until October I would have to buy all new stuff in the mean time which makes no sense

for my first wedding i waited until after the wedding and got divorced anyway. LOL this time around i'm going to start using it. even tho the wedding will only be 3 weeks later. we already own a house and can use the stuff.

I am the same way -checking our registries twice a day and already got china! That was exciting - I will be waiting as I dont' want to deal with unpacking/organizing... etc

we got 3 gifts off our registry for engagement, I used one, the other 2 are sitting waiting for the other stuff off the registry so I can organize them the way I want!
