Shower Help

Hi, I need a great place in Queens, or Long Island to give a baby shower for about 50 people.

check out douglaston manor. They have a room that would be a good size for that and they are reasonably priced.

I just threw my sister a shower this past weekend at Ahyans Shish Kebob in plainview. It was really nice, I keep getting compliments about how pretty the place was and what great service.
And they were reasonably priced!

Try Giardino's in Douglaston...they are owned by Russo's on the Bay and the food is AMAZING! They do a great brunch, and have a few different sized rooms... good luck!

Try Papazzio on Bell Blvd. in Bayside. I had my wedding shower there - the food was amazing, they were very accomodating, and there is only one party at a time.

i had my engagement dinner at Giardinos, great great food,

Waterzooi is amazing!! Also next door is Novita which is great as well.

Joanina in Huntington has great food.

Russo on the bay also has or used to own Carosello which is across the street, from Russo's which has great food and I always thought it was perfect for a baby shower or baby 1st bday

I am throwing my sister a bridal shower and needed a place in LI. After a bunch of research on these boards, I found the following places were recommended:

I had my shower at Island, in Astoria. I had it in the upstairs room but i think downstairs might fit 150 ppl. Upstairs had 60 ppl, there were cabana's too that didnt include the 60 guests and were open and some guests walked there to sit, but downstairs would be better for 150. I have pics in my album

Not sure where in Queens, but we threw my friend's bridal shower at Matteo's in the Howard Beach borderline. Right off the Belt Pkwy. I think they have a few other locations in LI as well. Great food.

I just went today to Mac's Steakhouse in Huntington. They have a beautiful room upstairs that can hold up to 150 people. Menu was awesome with a lot of options. Great astophmere, great staff and I felt very comfortable.

I am thinking of having my rehersal dinner there...

They also have valet parking and a great bar.....
