Shower ideas!!!
one of my co-workers (bosses sister-in-law) is getting married in june and her sister (my bosses wife) threw her bridal shower this past weekend and she has what sounded like a GREAT shower some really cute ideas i thought i would share with my girls!!!
for one: she hates surprises like myself so we were talking about this and she was realyl upset that her sister wanted it to be a surprise.. so on sunday morning at 5am her sister and the BMs showed up at her house banging on the doors windows blasting music with champagne and woke her up!! the brides sister scrapbooked her and 'invite' that told her that she needed to be ready in 5 hours and they were going to take her however she was at that time!
she said this made her happy cuz it was still a surprise but she knew to get dresses and knew it was coming!
Shes a teacher and for her wishing well they had a book shelf and each guest bought their favorite book to put on it!
the bride expressed to her sister that she hates opening the gifts and having guest not be able to hear what she got or see what she got so she asked for an 'unwrapped' shower.... each guest was to either not wrap or wrap in clear so that all the gifts could be displayed for everyone to see.. the MOH (her sisteR) made tags with to: and from: for each guest to fill out when they got there to put on the gift so as they walked around to look at the gifts you could see who it was from... i thought this was a GREAT idea!!!
they played all kinds of games!!!! cant remember all of them
and last but not least favors...since shes a teacher they made a donation to a childrens foundation that buys books for them i think?? i dont remember exactly where it was to but it was something along these lines!!
