See that's the thing...the bride loves sitting there and slowly opening presents...cause they are for her. But no one else there wants that part to go slow. I wouldn't want people to dread being there...
most brides ive seen dont like to sit there forever doing it...ive seen some that are like OMG im tired are there more? lol, ill definitely do it in a hurry

not me. i would hate everyone sitting there watching me open presents. my bf is the same; at her shower i sat next to her and helped her b/c i knew she didn't want to be the center of attention and wanted it over quick.

My bridal shower is going to be different!!!
My mom told me all about it to get my approval and i LOVE THE IDEA!!
She is going to throw me a Moroccan themed bridal shower!
She's getting arabic music to play and hiring a belly dancer to perform and do small lessons. We're also going to have a hena tattoo artist. She told me she's going to serve morroccan food as apetizers.. mmmm!!!!
oh and the favors are going to be bindis and bangle bracelets!! so much fun!

my girls threw me a movie themed bridal shower....
in the invites, they had a few questions, fave movie, etc....
all the games were related to movies...
it was really a lot of fun!

I was at a shower at a gorgeous house in CT, the set up was gorgeous, and i duno it wasnt boring at all, we didnt really play any games that i can recall, but it was just a gorgeous day, and i was happy to be able to catch up with some of my family i hadnt seen in a few months.
My sisters baby shower, we played games, the food was great, she opened gifts, I mean i didnt think it was that boring, its only about 3-4 hours
