do i invite every female to the shower? there are some people that i'm not sure about inviting, especially coworkers, etc. What did you ladies do?

You don't have to. I was told to give a list a rank it by who needs to be there, who i would like to be there, and who i really don't care if they are there or not. I see it as, if you aren't close to the person no need to invite them cause you know and they know its an empty invite.

I didn't invite everyone. I only invited family, close friends and close family friends. I decided not to invite coworkers, because I wasn't sure who of them would even come to the wedding.

i gave my mom a list of my close friends. leaving our family up to her (prob about 40 people).
no coworkers.
FMIL is getting 20 people otherwise she has to pay for them. most of FH's family lives out of state so im not even sure FMIL would want to invite them.

THIS! i even had my mom cut a few people from FH's side bc i don't need to invite his friends mothers or his co-worker's wives to my shower. Not only for the cost of the shower but also bc I don't want to make people who aren't close to me feel like they have to buy us another gift you know?

i made a list and gave it to my Mom and MOH. I want just close friends and family there. I did not extend it to all co workers and female guests! HTH Good luck!

Family (both sides) and close friends. Both moms got a few friends each, too

I didn't invite EVERY female... there were a lot of significant others of my FH's friends that I did not invite.

i'm not inviting every female - that'd be crazy!! Since I'm aware of my shower - there is a max of 50 -and I'm inviting 55 (18 for my mom, 18 for FMIL, 19 for me)

i didn't invite every female. I wanted it small and intimate. Especially since my mom is very generously paying for yet another thing for the wedding.
