Shower Invites have hit!

My shower invites have been received by most people already, and supposedly everyone said they were really cute, even though I think that was just to spare my feelings.

I just thought this was really funny though and had to share. I was at FH's house last night and his brother and gf came back home, and me and FMIL were on the computer looking at dresses for her, and FBIL's gf came over to us and was like oh! I got your shower invitation today!

I don't think I ever told her that I knew about it.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. It's such a blessing that I have a sense of humor, otherwise I can't even imagine my reaction to that.

Now the registry stalking begins or you may be blessed with my luck and not have anything bought yet even though invites have been out for 3 weeks . When is your shower?

My shower is August 9th....my mom sent them out really early because she wanted to make sure that people got them before planning any vacations, and also that she needs to have a final count in to Three Village Inn by July 9th (which is a little ridic, but that's neither here nor there).

Apparently all of FH's family called up FMIL to say they received them and gush to her...but not one of them called my OWN mother to RSVP!

Omg your situation sounds so similar to mine. My mom too sent them out early so ppl can know before planning their vacations.All of FH's fam called FMIL instead of my mom who put her cell and house numbers on it so guests can call her and of course they didn't. It's so hilarious how they don't listen. My shower is August 1st.
