Shower is tomorrow and I just found out

that one of my BMs might not be able to make it because both her mom and her MIL are sick....yes I feel bad that they're both ill, but really, you couldn't get a babysitter? Your dad couldn't watch your kids for a few hours? She says her mom's been sick for 2 weeks now, but she knew my mom was going to final menu meeting a few days ago...she waits until now to tell me?

I'm so disappointed....sad she won't be there with me to celebrate.

I understand, but it's like, she knew about it forever, she lives around the corner from the place....I understand her mom is sick, but her dad isn't.....so he could come over and watch the kids for an hour if she really wanted to come by.

But I'm really so over it....I know once I get a glass of wine in me, I'll be fine, and I'll have 30 other lovely ladies there to celebrate with. I was just a bit disappointed and really had no one else to vent to.
