Shower issues please help!

Is it bad to have a shower when you already had an engagment party?
I wanna do a jack and jill one but is it too much to ask of people? Thanks

I had an engagement party in sept and my girls are throwing my shower in march with our wedding in july. I dont think its to much to ask. For my registery I did some lower priced items and some larger priced items so anyone who want to join doesnt have to feel they have to break the bank.

i have also been to jack and jill parties love them. Fh wasnt thrilled on the idea he wanted me to have something for myself

a shower and engagement party are two separate things and no its not bad to have both.

We are just having a Shower, but it was just because we couldn't fit an E-Party in our schedule. We would have had both

Not at all! We had an e-party last April and I know my mom is planning to throw me a shower.

i had my e-party in May and was thrown a b-shower in January, my wedding is in April.

I am having both, however we did feel a little weird having the jack and jill shower since we had the eparty. It would be the same people and we were concerned it would just be like another eparty//
