I just sent my sister the list of people to invite to the shower. Including me, 27 people are invited. I have a small family, FH's family is even smaller, and my circle of close friends is pretty small.
Anytime I've been to a shower, there are so many people there. If 27 are invited (many of whom live out of state), like 15 people will be there. I feel like such a loser. Just need to vent!

have it in someone's home and it will be alot of fun and feel like a lot more people

Awww...don't be sad! Just think of how much more intimate it will be. You will be able to share more time with the people you really care about.

its quality not quantity that matters! i am having a small shower too. i think about 25.. its important that you have everytbody that you love & care about there. not your mother's friend's sister blah blah who you never met before. i told my sister i want a small intimate shower.

i think my shower had less than 30 ppl there---and you know what? that was just fine with me. cause it gives you time to really say hi and talk to everyone who is there.
nothing wrong with something that is small and intimate!

all my girl friends are in my wedding party... thats 4 with out my sister... i told my MOH she might need to invite all my guy friends!
Your numbers are nice cause you get to mingle with everyone and give them the attention for coming to the shower!
