SHOWER LOCATION HELP!!!

My friend is getting married in November and plan on having her shower the last week of August. I am looking for a restaurant, catering hall, ect on the water in Western Suffolk or Eastern Nassau. I would like to find a place that does a sit down brunch. If you know of a place that does buffet style brunches, please let me know as well. The guest list will probably be approx. 60 people. If it's a restaurant, I would like it to have a private room or section in the restaurant where it could be held.

Does anyone know of a good place?

Captain Bills in Bay Shore is sooo nice, right on the water and great food.

It is not on the water, but Milk and Sugar in Bayshore is awesome and the prices are not that bad. Also Chateau La Mer is a very nice place and they are on the water. Riverview in Oakdale is very nice also.

The Millerage does one. In the smaller building, the Carriage House, I think.

Food's really good and the place is nice.

I went to a nice shower at the Snapper Inn in Oakdale.

My shower was at the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip. It was great. We had a huge room and the food there is really good

well I don't know were u live. Theres an Italian place in Maspqa on Merrick Rd. It's Sergios Italian Restaurant. The food was great. Good Luck

I know you said Nassau or part of Suffolk, what about The Bonwitt Inn in Commack? Just a suggestion and right off the parkway.

I had my friends shower at Captain Bills. It was a separate room with a sit down luncheon overlooking the water.
Other places that are great but not on the water (Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip and Bella Palermo in Babylon)
