My cousin is my MOH and the only one in the wedding party (except for BM and flower girls). She was going to have the shower at her house in June but her husband is going to be working on the house and it's going to be under construction. She can't really afford to have it at a restaurant or anything. Can anyone think of any nice/inexpensive halls to rent where she can cater her own food? Also if you would happen to have a phone number as well. We would like it around the Babylon/W. Islip area. Thanks girls!!!

I just had a 30th birthday party for my Fiance at an American Legion Hall in Kings Park (I don't know how far you want to travel) but the price was right (only $275 afer you get the security deposit back). The hall was advertised as holding 80 but we were comfortable with about 50. I can get the number for you if you'd like but I don't have if right now. Theres probably halls closer to babylon (usually American Legions, Knights of Columbus or VFW halls are pretty cheap) and they usually require you to make your own food/decorations... just a thought...Good luck!
