I'm looking for some suggestions for shower locations in Suffolk county that are on or near the water.
Maybe a nice restaurant in Pt Jeff. I also like the idea of a brunch. Any suggestions?

Not sure if you're sticking to the north shore but Captain Bill's is on the water and does smaller parties. Sunset Harbor in Patchogue is also on the water.

Bavarian Inn has really good food. It's in Lake Ronkonkoma. You see the lake from the place. I had a brunch shower for my friend at a restuarant called Baysides in Moriches. The outside has boats docked. The food was pretty good.
There is also The Riverview which is right on the water. I forget what town I think it's Sayville. Very Nice atmosphere. Never had the food.

The Riverview is in Oakdale... I went to a small party there in June... it was really nice.

My Mom suggested the Bavarian Inn in Lake Ronkonkoma but I wasn't sure about that place. You've been to a shower there? Was it a sit down luch, buffet or brunch? Any info you can give would be great.
I also thought of Danfords. I would love to have a shower there but it is over $30 PP. I'm hoping to find something more economical.
I would like it to be by the water or maybe even a seafood restaurant. I wanted to go with a beach/ocean theme for the shower.

I am a complete moron when it comes to directions so I don't know the north shore from the south!
I and most of the bride's family and friends live in the Centereach area so I would like to try to keep the shower somewhat local.

The Snapper Inn and The Riverview in Oakdale are both right on the water and nice. In Port Jeff there is Danfords and The Port Jeff Country Club.

I just had my shower at the Old Field club in Setauket last weekend and the site and pictures with water and all the trees in the background were gorgeous! I'd highly recommend it!!!
