Do you invite all the women who are invited to the wedding to the shower? Should you invite people who are out of town?
My mom is stressing about the shower, and she doesn't know who to ask.

Re: Shower Question
I would say invite everyone even the out of towners. I think they would appreciate the invite and many would probably try to come.

Re: Shower Question
I didn't invite everyone but it depends on what you really want to do. I tried to keep the list short so my wedding party and mom did'nt have to pay too much.
I only invited my family, his family, close girlfriends and some of my good guy frineds wife's. I did not invite a lot of older friends that i invited to the wedding but are not exceptionally close too, extended family or girlfriends of my DH's friends.
I have been to showers where people invite everyone who is invited to there wedding but sometime co workers or significant others of yoru friends might feel uncomfortable. Also, the size of you wedding might make it a very long shower.

Re: Shower Question
Only close relatives or friends from OOT were invited to mine. Other OOT-ers were left off the list.

Re: Shower Question
I probably will not invite like fiances, or girlfriends of my FI friends since I really don't know them that well.
Just my friends, family ,my mom's friends and my FI family and his mom's friends

Re: Shower Question
the only people we didn't invite, were my FI's co-workers wives. He works with all men and I know them a little, but I've never met any of their wives, and I thought that would be too odd. Everyone else, whom I know, is invited
