My daughter knows about her bridal shower. She didn't want a shower, but her godmother & FSIL (her matrons of honor) wanted her to have one. She has anxiety and didn't want to walk into a room of people & be surprised. Since she knows about it, she wants to be there as the people are coming in, so she can talk with them before things get hectic. Is it ok for her to be there before all the guests, since it's not a surprise? It's only a 3 hr party and she wants to be able to talk to all the guests. It's at a restaurant so we'll be on a tight schedule. Thanks.

Re: shower question
I don't like surprises either! She is not alone in this
We had planned for me to get there before all the guests, but after all the BP had gotten there and done what they wanted to set things up.
FH ended up having to go pick up my presents from FMIL b/c she was carpooling with friends and didn't have room for them in her car and FFIL didn't come to the shower.
This made us run late.
So I got there as the guests were arriving
But alls well that ends well .... it was a great day, and I felt a lot more at ease b/c I knew about the shower and didn't have people screaming & yelling as I walked into the room. Just lots of smiles and hugs

Re: shower question
I think that works out even better to be there that way she can enjoy it and not have to feel overwhelmed.
