I am not involved at all, My mom and MOH (sis) will take care of everything and thats the way I want it to be. I want to be surprised. I love surprises

I know when mine is and showed them invites I liked, favors i wanted and my BM told me to mind my business

My mom says the only thing i can have say in is the food she said i am going to have an amazing shower so i need to stop worrying

I don't want to be involved at all and everyone keeps telling me anything! All that I said was 'Why don't you do something outdoors because I don't want you spending a ton (my mom has expensive taste) and then we'll do the rehearsal dinner indoors?' and 'I have a ton of Luau decorations so if you want to theme it, feel free to run with that. That was the only thing I wanted to know and everyone just tells me everything and I HATE IT!

My shower is on July 25th from 2-6pm at FMIL's house in the backyard. I know what decor and what food and everyone keeps telling me who is and is not coming. I picked out the invites and bought them, printed a guest list and so on and I keep saying stop talking about all of this around me and they won't.

Some girls like planning it, I had enough to plan when we moved the wedding up. Besides I'm going away the Monday after the shower so I will be a busy bee.

Unless they really want/need me to be, I won't be involved at all. The idea of basically throwing/ planning a party for myself to get gifts isn't my style and I'd like it to be done the traditional way, but that's JMO.

I'm a control freak and one of my MOH's is very indecisive and just wants me to be happy so she's been asking me what I want for everything. So far, I've told her the theme I want, the type of food, types of decorations, and I've even bought some of the favors. She doesn't look at it as me being controlling; she's just grateful for the insight. My other MOH; however, yelled at me to stop planning and just sit back and relax. But I just can't, I like to control everything.

I actually picked the location and know that it is booked, but other then that I am not really involved...oh yeah I am picking out the centerpieces because we are dealing with Flower Michele for those

I want to be involved but my mom won't let me be. As the time draws nearer I will definitely make sure all my visions are carried out. LoL I am a control freak, so a surprise shower is hard for me!

mom and MOH are planning it, im not allowed to SAY 'bridal shower' without getting yelled at...

i told her the only thing i want to be involved in is seeing the people they're inviting, and that i absolutely want recipe cards sent w/the invites for guests to bring me recipes!!!!!!!!!! i love to cook!!

other than that i love surprises so im cool w/them planning!

I am not being involved at all!! I am leaving it up to my mom, sisters and the rest of my bridal party. I know they want to make it a suprise sooo we'll see!!!

Honestly, I'd rather not. I'm making all the decisions for the wedding as it is - I'd rather my mom, sisters, and BP take care of this one. It's one less thing I need to worry about.

I don't want to know anything and I don't want to plan anything... Planning the wedding is enough for me! I want the shower to be a surprise! My mom, sister and bridesmaids can deal with the shower because I know they want to keep it a secret too

i'm really not involved with the planning process....but i agree with the other poster! every time i see something i like online i email the site to my sister!!!!
