Shower question...

My shower is going to be a surprize & I am starting to get nervous about what I'll be wearing, sice I won't know when it is! I recently bought a dress I'd love to wear to my shower, whats everyone's opinions about me giving it to my mom & changing when I get there? Has anyone done this? Will people think its rude if I change after the surprize? I think maybe I'm just being a bridezilla, but I also don't want o wear the same old thing to my shower . All opinions on these would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Shower question...

It's fine to do that!
I found out about mine or my FH was going to pack a dress for me or give it to my MOH if I were to be surprised.

Re: Shower question...

I bought a dress for my surprise shower, too! I thought of giving it to my mom, but then I decided that I could probably narrow the shower down to two weekends and figure out when to wear it. Worse case scenario - I wear it two weekends in a row b/c I guess the first one wrong. I'm having another shower in PA thrown by my FSIL and I have a guess about how I will be 'taken' to my shower and it doesn't justify a cute outfit - so for that one I may change - but I have a feeling that one is late July/early Aug so I have time to think it out more.

I didn't want a surprise...could you press a BM and tell her the reason you'd like to know?

otherwise changing is fine

Re: Shower question...

Thank you so much for your input! I don't feel so crazy now! I know my girls won't tell me because my mom would kill them(she wants me to have surprizes, as if it isn't stressful enough)! If I can figure it out that would be good, but I may just give it to my mom to be on the safe side!

That's so funny you posted this because I just finished asking my FH to find out the date of my shower so I can be dressed nicely. I don't want to look like a slob.
