Shower Question

Shower Question

Ok ladies

I hate shower games, and was willing only to let them play 'How well do you know the Bride?'

Is there anything else cute that we can do (it is a brunch at a restaurant- private room. About 35-40 guests) that won't be cheesy?

PS. I really really really hate shower games!

Honestly, I know bridal bingo has a bad rep, but at least it something for people to do while you open presents. I don't understand why people hate it so much.

Ok- Bridal Bingo could be fun....especially with such fun items as a drill and a soil-less herb growing system on my registry

I agree, Bridal Bingo is the only thing for guests to do while we open all of our gifts!
I hate all the other games too!

i am doing bingo for the gift opening but also doing a timer during gift opening....
setting it a few minutes at a time and every time it goes off the person whose gift i am opening wins a prize. just another way to help pass the time as i open gifts...

what about the apron game??

bride wears an apron with little items pinned onto it, like a sponge, hairclip, lotion, tampon, condom(if you want to make it funny), ribbons, spatula, gloves, tissues, all sorts of random things

the bride comes out and walks around room briefly goes up to each table briefly

bride leaves the room

the guests have to write down as many items as they can remember in 1 minute, who ever guesses most wins!

or the purse game?

I know- he is a gay guy, and has never been to a Shower. What can I really expect?

purse game is really fun!

how well do you know your FH can also be a fun game. Your MOH (or whoever) asks specific questions about your FH and if you get it wrong, you have to put a piece of gum in your mouth (or take a shot ).

me too!!!! But here are some that I adore: Musical bouquet, like hot potato but each time that the bouquet lands in someones hands they give the bride advice on marriage or one of their secrets to a good marriage, the other is name that tune, using love songs.

The only bridal game i like is the questions and answers. A friend did this at her shower. I'm sure theres a name for it but basically you ask the bride all these questions about her and FH and every question she gets wrong she eats a piece of gum. After she answers FH is on video asking the question. (you video tape FH's questions/answers prior to the shower)

Nikki (my MOH) if you reading this... hint hint. LOL

Oh also, we'll probably do the wrap the 'bride' in toilet paper.. it's silly but always a good laugh.

I agree... it's something to keep the guests occupied so the present opening stage isn't so boring and if you do it for prizes (like if you get bingo you get a scratch off) then it's even more fun.

I also love the toilet paper dress game. The things people come up with are great!
