1. Your opinion on shower games? - Yes or No. If yes, which games do you like?
2. How much is normal for the bridal party to chip in? The bride's father is paying for most of the shower, I am going to have the groom's mom take care of either favors or decorations. I would like the bridal party to contribute for invitiations, and maybe a gift. I was thinking betwen $50 and $100 per girl. Your thoughts?

Love bridal bingo. As I posted in another site, I went to a bridal party where we played pass the cucumber. The BP bought large cucumbers and it was like hot potatoe, only you had to put the cucumber between your legs and pass it to the girl next to you. It may be a little raunchy but it was tons of fun.
In my family, the bridal party chips in and buy a nice gift together. Some buy furnitures while others made baskets with home essentials and other things from the register. I don't think they spend more then $100-$150 per BM. I think it is best that way so that there isn't competetion between the girls.

I think the amount of money is very reasonable.
As for shower games. I vote NO. But I hate them and at mine we did not have any because of it. And no one even missed them. It hink its really just something to pass time.

My shower was just last week. You can look in my album for ideas. We played Bingo and toliet paper bride which I have to say was such a hit, it was only 10 minutes so it wasn't dragged out.Everyone participated so it was great. As far as chipping in, my bridal party chipped in $50 per girl for the shower and then around $50 for a gift. They got me a video camera which was so great! I vote yes for the bridal shower games :) its a lot of fun and includes the guests because about five minutes later they are stuck watching you open up tons of gifts :)

I vote yes for shower games. If people dont want to play they dont have too, so its up to them
Usually in my family MOB pays for shower, and the BP gets a set of china or something or something.For my sister's shower my family bought her the china already so they just bought stuff from the registry from 100-150
