When planning a shower, when should you put the rsvp date for? Like how far in advance? Is it two weeks? Longer or shorter? Thanks so much.

We did ours for a month before because we are doing a backyard party and we need to know how much stuff to buy and how much food to have.

My RSVP date will be 12 days before the actual shower. Which means I'd better get those suckers in the mail tomorrow because that's only 2 weeks from today!!!!
