Honestly, I don't. I don't think you can even really be surprised-almost every bride gets a shower-so they know its coming...
So I told my mom and all she is telling me is that its at the end of June...I already started practicing my 'surprised' faces.

I didn't either but my mom told me it was on a Sunday.....And I feel totally guilty for checking my registries too

I wanted to be surprised but unfortunately I overheard my FMIL talking about it. Not only did she say the date of the shower she is throwing for me, but also the one my mom is throwing. I think my mom would be really upset/disappointed if I knew, so I haven't said anything and will act surprised! I kinda wish they could change the date since I would like to be surprised, but I don't want to cause any drama.

I do want to be surprised. I actually get annoyed if I accidentally 'hear' anything.

I did not want to be surprised either. This is because I wanted to make certain I looked fairly decent.

Count me in for another person who does not want to be surprised. I was starting to think I was the only one. I like to know when things are going on and help out when I can. We don't have a lot of family here, so my mom would be doing it on her own. But my Mom is definitely making it a surprise, because there is suspicious activities going on.

I really wanted to be surprised, and for the most part I was. I had an inkling that it was my shower, but they pulled it off well enough that my shocked reaction was sincere!!
