shower thank you cards again..... please help
firstly I want to thank everyone for all their opinions of where to purchase cards yesterday. I took KatieG2010's advice & went to Marshall's after work & purchased For The Modern Bride thank you cards, a pack of 40 for $3.99!!!
this weekend I will be writing the cards out. I basically have an idea of how to personalize them all, except for one.
a friend of mine gave what my sister likes to call a bag of crap. she claims she thought there would be a wishing well after my sister told her that there was none.
she gave a gift bag with the following items:
1. 2 pack of mini photo albums
2. 2 pack of vomit colored dish towels
3. a multi pack of drain stoppers
what the hell do i write in her thank you card?????
at the shower (3 weeks ago) she mentioned that she would be sending a registry gift but we have not received anything yet. FH said that I should wait & see if we receive anything. the thing is that I am really hurt by the way she acted when she gave me the gift. after I overcame the surprise she ran over to say hello to me & gave me this gift bag. I put it down to say my hellos & she was all oh please open it now. to top it off she works part time in Macy's (where we registered) & she made it a point to say that she pulled up the registry at work & offered for us to use her employee discount.
what should I do????
